PAR36 Bulb Shown above from 2 different angles Terminals on back of Outdoor PAR36 Bulbs which are usually exposed , should be protected with our protection spray Because our spray creates a protective rubber coating, we highly suggest spraying the entire back of bulb where the terminals and cable are connected. Whether the bulb terminals are not exposed, partially exposed , or completely exposed (like on our PG450 well light), as long as its used outdoors, the PAR36 terminals are susceptible to moisture. Using electro shield protective coating (which drys on clear) will protect the connection and your terminal from becoming a victim of corrosion and rust. How do I change the bulb later? No problem. The tip of your screw driver will puncture the rubber coating allowing you to turn the screws. In fact if the screws were well coated with our protection seal, the screws will come out easier than if they were not protected. Once you change the bulb, all you have to do is re-spray the connection/terminal area again. We highly recommend at least 2 good coats for the maximum protection.
