This housing is for NEW construction jobs where there is NO existing drywall or you may be able to
use for existing drywall ONLY if you have enough access or crawlspace to be able to install this
housing.
This unique housing
is Air Tight rated. It is still IC rated* but it is also Air Tight sealed in key engineer specified
areas. One of the benefits of having this IC rated Air Tight housing is that it saves you money on your
electrical bill by reducing your heating and air conditioning costs because it eliminates the escaping
heat or conditioned air that normally escapes through non-Air Tight fixtures. No matter what State you
live in this housing will save you money and increase your property's value by the simple fact that you
have made your property more energy efficient.

| For any recessed housings that
are received damaged, customers must ship them back at their own expense before we can supply a
replacement. Customers must also pay for return shipment of the replacements. This is because of the
very low profit margin on these items. Damages on recessed housings rarely occur, but when it does,
most of the time it can be hammered out. Though, if they are beyond repair, the above
applies. |

housing is approved to make direct contact with insulation.

| Commercial grade fluorescent recessed downlighting saves energy and conforms to certain state codes and requirements and can be used for residential as well as commercial since its multi-use commercial grade ballast allows for 120 Volt, which is standard in all homes, as well as 277 Volt which is common in most commercial buildings. Please confirm that your commercial application uses 120v or 277v as some rarely use 208 Volt or 240 Volt. Fluorescent commercial grade recessed is recommended for California Title 24 and other states code such as Colorado and Washington. Plus, many more states are now starting to require fluorescent recessed lighting. This particular commercial grade can is IC Rated and Air Tight as well and gives you 26 Watts of fluorescent light. |
