This insures that everyone receives brand new rope light as there is no way for us to determine whether the product has been used or not. * 8 Year Guarantee is on the tube only not to UV Tarnish or Degrade unless exposed to high heat temperatures or harsh water conditions. This guarantee will also NOT cover Physical Damage.

The bulbs come with a 50,000 hour life rating. This rating is a factory provided hour long rating and is determined by laboratory conditions. We do NOT guarantee that they will last for 50,000 hours. Any company that does is giving you false imformation as this would be impossible to guarantee. However, we do guarantee to replace the product for up to 1 year after the purchase date - any section(s) that go out.


** The manufacturer has designed this rope light to be cut every 4 inches for whatever reason.
However by doing this UL has advised us that it will no longer be UL approved.  Please keep in mind although UL is NOT a government agency they are the company that has tested this product and have concluded it cannot be safely cut in the field.
Therefore we are NOT recommending, endorsing, approving or indicating that you can safely cut this product or that it is allowed to be cut. We assume no risk or liability for the use or misuse of this product whether you cut it or not.
We are selling you a complete and uncut 150 foot spool, and we do NOT include any cutting instructions.
Additionally we advise you to be very careful of any other site you find that says you can cut rope lighting without noting this UL disclosure. If you find any site that notes you can cut their rope light you may want to consult with UL and ask them why that site still notes it can be cut before you purchase and cut the product.
