| EXCLUSIVE ADJUSTABLE BRASS "GYRO" RING (BULB HOLDER) | ||

Animation shows a few of the positions the brass "Gyro" Ring (bulb holder) can achieve. |
|
This is our Exclusive solid brass ring that holds the bulb. We incorporated gyroplane technology ("Gyro" for short) into this ring. The definition of Gyroplane is "a ring that rotates in multiple directions on its axis." Our "Gyro" Ring does exactly that - rotates the bulb in multiple directions and can be locked in any position. Our "Gyro" Ring also has the exclusive feature of being made out of brass material, which will never rust or corrode for life. |
||
We are the only manufacturer to implement a secondary locking device for this "Gyro" Brass Ring (bulb holder). A common problem with this type of in ground light is that in time, your bulb will start to sink down into the well. This can be caused by physical impact to the bulb or the well itself, animals, your gardener, natural everyday earth movement, etc. This is why we designed our unit with an exclusive fully adjustable secondary locking device, which allows you to permanently lock the "Gyro" Brass Ring (bulb holder) into any vertical position. All components for this secondary locking device are completely made of brass which will never rust or corrode for life. |

| The body of this well light is made of Heavy Duty PVC Construction which will never rust or corrode for life. The body was designed with our Exclusive Reversible feature. This feature allows you to either bury it in ground - angle side up OR flat side up. | |
| IMPORTANT NOTE There are "similar" well lights offered out there. Please read below before you decide which one to buy: 1) Be very careful of purchasing units that are offered with a non-brass bulb holder. Unbelievable as it may sound, there are units sold out there with a rubber, plastic, steel or aluminum bulb holder. Not only does this non-brass bulb holder not come with our Lifetime Guarantee never to rust or corrode (because those other units will not last for life). Plus, our bulb holder is more adjustable because of its Gyroplane Design. This is why we call our bulb holder the "Gyro" Ring. 2) Some units out there do offer a locking bulb holder no matter what material it is made of, but no one offers our Exclusive Secondary Locking Device which completely eliminates one of the most common problems associated with well lights. 3) Beware of other brands utilizing a "stainless" steel bulb holder unlike our brass bulb holder. Stan Honey, is a renowned sailor, navigator and electrical engineer, who wrote: Stainless steel is a special case. Generally, it is a bad idea to use stainless steel outdoors or underwater, because it can pit. When it pits the "nobility" of the metal changes locally, and you end up with tiny galvanic couples that are made up of different parts of the same piece of metal and the pits grow deeper. One school of thought suggests that if you must use stainless steel, then you should connect a nearby, immersed zinc to it; this protects the stainless steel from itself, reducing the rate of pitting. The electrochemistry of this assertion is compelling enough to recommend that you protect a stainless steel with a zinc. There is a stainless steel that we know of named a "duplex" grade V4A, that is known to be suitable for underground use. The conclusion: Unless the suppler can offer you zinc to connect to the stainless steel light that they are pawning off on you as an in ground light or if they can guarantee you in writing that they are using V4A stainless steel grade material, than you should stay clear of using stainless steel for in ground lighting. The facts speak for themselves. |
